All of Kerika, free
Kerika for Academic & Nonprofit teams is full featured; you get
- As many Kanban and Whiteboards as many as you like: each board can be as large or complex as you need.
- Great content management: attach files from your desktop, your Intranet, SharePoint or the Internet, and have Kerika automatically keep track of all the different versions of your files.
- Great task management: get a handy summary every morning at 6AM of everything that you need to get done this week and next week.
- Chat that's fully integrated: each task and each board can have it's own chat stream.
- Full access to Kerika's library of Process Templates – and you can make your process templates as well to capture your organization's standard workflows and best practices.
- Calendar integration: your due dates can show up on your Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook Calendar, or Apple Mac OS X or iOS Calendar.
- Dynamic cross-board Views that summarize everything that needs your attention, across all your boards.
- Three great ways to sign up: using your Google ID, using your Box ID, or just your email.
For Google Apps and Box Enterprise users, there's the added advantage of knowing that your domain-wide content management and security policies are automatically implemented for your Kerika users.
>What about larger teams?
If you need more than 10 Team Members, get a paid Professional Plan: this is very affordable (just $7 per user, per month) and lets you grow to be as big as you need to be.
And this is important to note: if you grow past 10 users, you will need to get a Professional License that covers everyone in your Account, not just the people above the 10-free limit. For example, a nonprofit with 11 users will need to buy 11 subscriptions, not just 1. (We have to draw a line somewhere, and 10 is where we drew it...)
Of course, if all you need is to share your Kerika boards with people who won't be making any changes, you can always add them as Visitors – Visitors are free and unlimited.
>Is anyone eligible?
We are very flexible about serving all sorts of nonprofits, but we do reserve the right to turn down any particular request if we have concerns about the organization involved.
So, please:
- Nothing that promotes hate or violence: keep it peaceful.
- Nothing that seems scammy or scummy: keep it legit.
- Nothing related to pornography: keep it clean.
Sign up with your school or work email, not Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook.
We use your email address to look up your organization, to confirm that it is an eligible school, college or nonprofit. If you sign up with a generic email, like Gmail, we can't tell whether you are eligible or not. So, please, use an email address that corresponds to your organization.
