This is definitely the most popular option for Kerika users, since so many people already use Google's services. Any Google ID will work, even a regular Gmail address. To use this, click on the Sign up with Google button on the Sign Up page.
With this option, Kerika will store all your files in your own Google Drive where they will always be under your control. This includes every file attached to every board owned by your account.
There are lots of advantages to using Google Drive:
Kerika needs permission to access your Google Drive, and the screen that Google will show you looks like this:
Although this screen – which is Google's way of asking, not ours – suggests that Kerika will roam freely through your Google Drive, the reality is quite different:
If you would like more information on this, check out this page on Kerika's integration with Google.
We also have a very similar integration with Box, for folks that prefer to use Box's cloud services. To use Kerika with Box, click on the Sign up with Box button on the Sign Up page.
With this option, Kerika will store all your files in your organization's Box Enterprise Account where they will always be under the control of your company's IT staff. This includes every file attached to every board owned by your account.
As with Google Drive, there are some real advantages to using Kerika with Box:
Kerika needs permission to access your Enterprise Box Account, and the screen that Box will show you looks like this:
Although this screen – which is Box's way of asking, not ours – suggests that Kerika will roam freely through your Box Account, the reality is quite different:

This is probably the easiest way you can try out Kerika: just sign up using any email address, and let Kerika handle all your project files.
You can sign up with any personal or corporate email: it doesn't matter – Kerika will send you a confirmation email at that address that contains a personalized link for you to click on. Clicking on the link will help us confirm that you are using an email address that belongs to, and will complete the sign up process.
When you sign up using an email address, Kerika actually uses Box to store your project files for you, when you sign up directly: Kerika sets up a special Box account for each user, that's used only to store the files associated with that particular account.
This means that every user's files are kept in separate Box accounts, for added security (beyond what Kerika provides anyway in terms of making sure only team members and authorized visitors can view any project data.)
We use Box because they are really good about secure file storage, for organizations of all sizes and in every sector – including sensitive businesses like hospitals and law firms.
It would be difficult – and really pointless – for Kerika to build a comparable level of file storage: that's Box's core business after all. So instead of re-inventing the wheel when it comes to secure file storage, we simply use the best service that's available in the industry today: the Box Platform.
