It is possible that Google is having problems with their service: you can quickly check by looking at their App Status Dashboard here: https://www.google.com/appsstatus#hl=en&v=status .
If their Google Drive or Google Docs services are shown as having trouble today, then you might be affected by that. Sometimes, your use of Kerika may be affected by other Google services being down as well, e.g. their authentication service which is used by all their products.
Sometimes you may encounter this problem: you click on the "File Picker" to grab a file that's already in your Google Drive
And you see a "401 Unauthorized" message in your browser....
When you authorized Kerika to use your Google Drive, Google gives us what's called an "access token".
This token is normally "long-lived", which means it doesn't expire quickly, so you can use the File Picker even after not having used Kerika+Google for a while. In some situations, however, it is possible that the access token is no longer valid: the most common scenario is that you have several Google accounts, and you have logged out of the one you used when logging into Kerika+Google, and are not logged into a different Google account.
In this situation, Google will show this "401 Unauthorized" message because there is a mismatch in the Google IDs you are using, within Kerika and outside Kerika.
Just refresh the browser window that's being used for Kerika: this will force Kerika to get a new access token from Google, and in the process of doing that Google may ask you for your user name and password again.
The process of logging back into Google will ensure that the same, correct Google ID is being used for both your Google Drive and your Kerika+Google account.
Sometimes you may encounter a different problem: you click on a file that's attached to a card in Kerika, and instead of opening that file – or downloading it to your local computer – you see a "403 Forbidden" message in your browser.
Or, sometimes you may be able to view a file attached to a card, but when you try to download it from Google Drive, you see a "403 Forbidden" message.
This is similar to the "401 Unauthorized" problem described above: for some reason, the Google ID you are currently using for your Kerika+Google account isn't the same as the Google ID being used for your Google Drive.
The fix for "403 Forbidden" is simple: just open this URL in your browser: https://docs.google.com.
